Structure of Intellect (SOI) Learning Profile Assessments – Coventry & Warwickshire
We are offering part-funded SOI Learning Profile Assessment places for children and young people who live in Coventry or Warwickshire. This summer offer is available until 31 August 2026, subject to suitability and availability.
Recognising learning difficulties and identifying the underlying abilities that may be affecting reading, writing, maths, memory, attention, organisation and learning confidence.
An SOI Learning Profile Assessment looks beyond what a child or young person is struggling with and helps identify the specific learning abilities that may be contributing to the difficulty.
It can recognise learning difficulties, including abilities connected with dyslexic-type difficulties, reading, writing, maths, memory, understanding, attention, decision-making, problem-solving and executive functioning.
The assessment identifies stronger abilities as well as abilities that need further development. Families can then receive an individual programme of activities designed to strengthen the areas identified.
SOI does not provide a medical diagnosis of autism or ADHD. It provides a detailed profile of the person’s learning abilities and helps explain where and why learning may be breaking down.
Part-funded price
SOI Learning Profile Assessments are available privately for children, young people and adults.
For an initial three-month period, part-funded assessments are available for children and young people living in Coventry & Warwickshire.
I hope to continue offering subsidised assessments beyond the initial three months if further funding can be secured.

About the assessor
SOI Learning Profile Assessments are delivered by Sarah-Jane McGarry, Founder of The Autism & ADHD Advocates CIC and a Structure of Intellect (SOI) Learning Profile Assessor.
Sarah-Jane has many years of experience supporting children, young people and families to understand autism, ADHD, executive functioning, sensory processing and learning differences. Her work focuses on looking beyond behaviour to understand the thinking, learning and everyday demands that may be causing difficulty.
She brings together SOI assessment with her specialist knowledge of memory, attention, organisation, task completion, emotional regulation and executive functioning.
Sarah-Jane’s aim is to give families a clear, practical and parent-friendly understanding of how their child learns, their areas of strength, where learning may be breaking down and what support could help them move forward.
