ONLINE - Whole Family Neurodiversity Session

For parents, carers and children to learn together

Join us for a relaxed online family session where parents, carers and children can learn together about neurodivergence, executive functioning, emotions and everyday challenges.

This session is designed for the whole family, not just adults. Children and young people are welcome to attend with their parent or carer so everyone can begin to understand why things can feel difficult, what support may help, and how families can work together with more understanding.

We will talk about things like:

  • why some children struggle with organisation, emotions, attention, waiting, change or instructions

  • how autism, ADHD and executive functioning can affect everyday family life

  • why children are not always being “naughty” or “difficult”

  • how parents and children can use simple language and strategies together

  • how families can reduce blame, arguments and misunderstandings

This is a friendly, supportive online session. Children do not have to speak or have their camera on. They can listen, draw, fidget, move around or take breaks if needed.

Time: 5.30pm
Where: Online
Who for: Parents, carers, children and young people
Cost: Free

A session for families to learn together, understand each other better and start building calmer, more supportive home life.
