Our Sensory Processing session is designed to help parents and carers better understand how sensory differences can affect a child’s behaviour, emotions, attention and everyday experiences.
We will explore the different sensory systems, including sound, touch, movement, body awareness, taste, smell and visual input, and look at how children may become overwhelmed, avoid certain sensations or actively seek sensory input.
The session will also cover practical ways to recognise sensory needs and make everyday environments, routines and activities more supportive.
This is a relaxed, practical session focused on helping families understand what may be happening underneath the behaviour, rather than simply responding to the behaviour itself.
