Families For All Family Hub Coventry - Thursday 9th April 2026
9:30am – 11:30am
If your child is struggling with emotional outbursts, anxiety, school refusal, focus, or feeling overwhelmed, this session is designed for you.
Many parents are told their child’s behaviour is the problem. In reality, behaviour is often a signal of unmet needs, delayed executive functioning skills, sensory overload, or chronic anxiety.
This workshop will help you understand what is really going on underneath the surface — and what practical support actually makes a difference.
What we’ll explore:
Emotional regulation and why it can feel impossible for some children
Executive functioning and how it impacts daily life
Sensory processing differences and overload
Anxiety, masking and burnout
Why behaviour management strategies often fail
Early recognition and proactive support
This is not a parenting judgement session. It is a supportive, informative space where parents can connect, learn and leave feeling clearer and more confident.
Whether your child has a diagnosis of ADHD or autism, is on a waiting list, or you simply feel something isn’t quite fitting — you are welcome.
Delivered by Sarah-Jane McGarry,

Spaces are limited. Booking required.
