This is a 3-week programme for neurodivergent parents-to-be and new parents, including pregnant women, dads and partners.
The sessions will run on:
Monday 20 July
Monday 27 July
Monday 3 August
Time: 9.30am – 11.00am
Please only book a place if you are able to attend all three sessions, as each week builds on the last.
Places are limited, so once you have booked, I will need confirmation that you will be attending. If you are no longer able to come, please let me know as soon as possible so the place can be offered to another family.
The sessions will explore how pregnancy, birth preparation and early parenthood can place extra demands on executive functioning, sensory processing and interoception.
We will look at planning, appointments, routines, decision-making, emotional regulation, sensory overwhelm, body signals, sleep disruption, feeding, crying, visitors and how these demands can increase once a baby is born.
This is not medical advice or parenting instruction. It is neurodivergent-affirming support to help parents understand their needs, feel more prepared and communicate more confidently with midwives, health visitors, family members and support services.
You do not need a diagnosis to attend.
